Key Responsibilities Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, according to state, federal, and company policies and procedures. Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with services and products. Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers and resolve customer issues and answer inquiries to ensure a positive customer experience. Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy. Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow, and report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty. Strictly adhere to blithequark's policy regarding faithful dispensing across all applicable prescription dispensing activities. Register all related sales on assigned cash register, collect and handle cash as required, and take customers to the OTC aisle when possible to assist in finding products. Handle phone calls that don't require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians. Process (correct and resubmit) manual claims for third-party application prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and perform other clerical duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager. Essential Qualifications Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Preferred qualifications include six months of experience in a retail environment, previous work experience with blithequark, desirable math skills, and basic computer skills. Preferred knowledge of store inventory control and % certification. Skills and Competencies Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Ability to learn and use pharmacy systems and technology. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
