Day In The Life As a Front End Pharmacy Technician, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks that are crucial to the medication dispensing process at our closed-door pharmacy. Our front-end team is dedicated to entering orders, working closely with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include: Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely processing Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer Create and maintain accurate customer records The Team and Rewarding Benefits blithequark provides care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communications, and chronic care settings. Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Prior experience in the long-term care industry PTCB National Certification Education A verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required for this position. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $30.00 - $60.00 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
