Job Summary The Principal Cybersecurity Incident Responder will lead the cybersecurity incident response team at blithequark, responsible for responding to and managing cybersecurity incidents across the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with expertise in incident response, threat analysis, and digital forensics. You will be responsible for developing and implementing incident response plans, conducting threat analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents. Key Responsibilities Lead the cybersecurity incident response team, responsible for responding to and managing cybersecurity incidents across the organization Develop and implement incident response plans, threat analyses, and digital forensics investigations Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and compliance, to respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents Conduct threat analyses and provide recommendations for improving the organization's cybersecurity posture Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and incident response procedures Collaborate with external partners, including law enforcement and cybersecurity vendors, to stay up-to-date on the latest threats and trends Develop and maintain incident response procedures, playbooks, and runbooks to ensure effective and efficient response to cybersecurity incidents Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response, threat analysis, and digital forensics Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response, threat analysis, and digital forensics Certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM, are highly desirable Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, including SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms Strong understanding of cloud security, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
