Job Overview and Responsibilities As a Principal Solutions Architect at AWS, you will play a critical role in helping our clients to design, deploy, and manage their cloud-based systems and applications. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with our clients to understand their business and technical requirements, and to provide them with expert guidance and support to help them to achieve their goals. You will be responsible for owning the technical relationship with our clients, and for working with them to identify and prioritize their needs, and to develop and implement solutions that meet those needs. Key Responsibilities: Own the technical relationship with our clients, and work with them to identify and prioritize their needs Provide expert guidance and support to our clients to help them to design, deploy, and manage their cloud-based systems and applications Work closely with our clients to understand their business and technical requirements, and to develop and implement solutions that meet those needs Engage with business leaders, technologists, developers, and professionals at our UN clients to help them to solve problems and gain insights using the latest technologies and techniques Help our clients to envision the art of the possible, accelerate their projects, and recommend best-practice models that align with their business outcomes Participate in and lead deep-dive education and technology design activities to create world-class, Well-Architected solutions for UN organizations and the AWS partners who work with them Advocate on behalf of our clients to help drive continuous improvements to the AWS platform and to influence the product roadmap Support other members of the account team and help bid teams to review technical responses to proposals Collaborate and support broader AWS teams, Professional Services, and AWS Partners to deliver maximum value to our clients Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background, with experience in cloud computing, distributed systems, and software development. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
