Job Summary As a Production Associate, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing operations, assembling and packaging medical device products to high-quality standards. You will be responsible for following proper procedures, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Manufacture high-quality medical devices with maximum efficiency and minimal scrap and rework Set up workstations with necessary equipment and supplies as per job assignment Follow proper procedures involving bonding, assembling, packaging, sealing, or operating equipment per specifications Transport, issue, and stage raw materials and components for each work order as required Complete all documentation as required for each work order Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Operate equipment and handle materials in a safe and proper manner Communicate concerns related to manufacturing processes to supervision Adhere to all Medline safety procedures and policies at all times Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must be able to: Actively communicate with Production Lead and/or Production Supervisor Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision or direction Define and analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Possess basic computer navigation and operation skills Read, write, and compute basic math Effectively communicate both internally and externally Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing production line experience is preferred, as well as aptitude to learn blueprint reading and operation of computer terminals. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are also desirable. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Strong organizational skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Proficient hand and eye coordination, hand dexterity, and good vision Physical Demands The physical demands of this role include: Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25lbs Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 35lbs Regularly standing, sitting, and walking to perform production tasks Performing repetitive movement while demonstrating proficient hand and eye coordination, hand dexterity, and good vision Work Environment The work environment characteristics of this role include: Noise level in the production work environment is loud Working environment is dynamic and can be stressful for some people Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Medline Industries, LP, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
