Job Overview The Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative will play a vital role in supporting healthcare providers who care for our members. As a representative, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate responses to questions and concerns from providers, which may include benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits, and behavioral health. You will utilize your excellent communication skills to address these inquiries via phone calls and concurrent chats, ensuring that providers receive the support they need to deliver high-quality care to our members. Key Responsibilities Serve as an advocate for providers, demonstrating accountability and ownership in resolving issues and addressing concerns Provide exceptional customer service in a multi-channel environment, including calls and concurrent chats Quickly and effectively triage contacts from healthcare professionals, such as physician offices, clinics, and billing offices Seek to understand and identify the needs of providers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Research and resolve complex prior authorization and claim issues, taking steps to prevent repeat calls and escalations Collaborate with internal partners to ensure issues are resolved and communicated to providers in a timely and effective manner Utilize strong multitasking skills to navigate multiple systems and extract necessary information to resolve issues and avoid delays Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, assisting with navigation questions and promoting the benefits of these tools Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience 1 year of customer service experience, with a focus on analyzing and solving customer concerns Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex systems Typing speed of 35-40 words per minute with an accuracy of 90% Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday between 10:35am - 7:05pm CST, with flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred qualifications include: Experience in a related environment, such as an office, call center, or customer service role, with a focus on using phones and computers as primary job tools Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology Telecommuting Requirements To be eligible for this remote opportunity, you must: Reside within the state of Indiana Have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Have a reliable high-speed internet connection that meets arenaflex's requirements Soft Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following soft skills and competencies: Ability to multitask, including typing in multiple conversations Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Emotional intelligence and empathy, with the ability to understand and address the needs of providers Active listening and comprehension skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems and extract necessary information Demonstrated experience consistently achieving quality and productivity standards Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
