About the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) Team at blithequark The MSP team at blithequark is at the forefront of driving innovation across all aspects of Mechatronics and Packaging. We're talking about industrial hardware/control machines such as robotic cells, autonomous vehicles, sortation, packing technologies, and packaging materials. Our role is to ensure that we deliver robust products that seamlessly integrate into the blithequark Fulfillment network, working closely with key stakeholders like Operations, RME, ACES, Supply Chain, Transportation, and WW Design. The Role: Quality Assurance Engineer - Virtual & Simulation Testing We're on the hunt for an outstanding Quality Assurance Engineer who will develop virtual platforms to test and verify solutions through simulations and emulations with a high degree of fidelity. This involves using most of the real software at full scale. As a Quality Assurance Engineer - Virtual & Simulation Testing, you will be a crucial partner to the Product Teams, driving high-quality product delivery. You will also work closely with the QA Manual Testing and Requirements Team to synchronize virtual and physical tests and with internal Customers to ensure new Solutions meet their requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Simulations and Hresult_in Law (HIL): Create simulations and Hresult_in Law (HIL) to virtually validate end-to-end solutions using real-life software. Ensure Quality and Specifications: Virtually verify that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training & learning, deployment, process- and MHE- integration, service, and support prior to delivery. Set Quality Standards: Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products and communicate these to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams. Coordinate Testing Processes: Manage simulations and testing processes efficiently. Analyze Issues and Defects: Identify, analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, especially when they recur across multiple products. Recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues. Customer Feedback and Compliance: Connect with internal customers, review client, customer, and user feedback, and maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree: A BS degree is required. Experience with Cross-Functional Teams: 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams, with expertise in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance. Fulfillment Systems Experience: Proven experience in fulfillment systems with storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment. Time Management and Analytical Skills: Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Travel Requirement: Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Automated Material Handling Equipment: Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing. Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members, operations, and management. Project Management Skills: Project managing skills to start and finish projects successfully.
