As a Quality Control Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products while maintaining the highest level of security principles. You'll work closely with our production team to identify and resolve quality issues, implement process improvements, and maintain accurate records. **Key Responsibilities** * Experience the arenaflex Security Standard and meet all health and safety requirements. Safety is a state of business. * Participate in plant TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) drives - completing tasks related to TPM assignments. * Perform winder, EDL, and transport quality checks and documentation at designated times. * Maintain control board - adjust speed, delays, and other clocks as necessary. * Interact with plant workers to provide quality control (QC) data. * Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues. * Implement process improvements to enhance product quality and safety. * Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and results. * Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations. **Essential Qualifications** * Basic understanding of product process. * Assembling or process-related experience is preferred. * Ability to communicate effectively and clearly. * Willingness to make decisions and take initiative. * Familiarity with leadership levels to obtain support. * Regular attendance on-site and ability to work flexible shifts. * Demonstrated commitment to safety and willingness to influence safety practices. * Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal direct supervision. * Exhibited mechanical aptitude and ability to investigate. * High level of attention to detail. * Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. * Basic science skills. * Ability to effectively communicate (read, write, speak, understand) English. * Proficiency in using a computer to perform basic data entry. * Willingness to remain drug-free. * Openness to working in a dirty/soiled/exhaust/fiberglass environment. * Ability to work in a modern manufacturing environment with extreme temperature variations. * Openness to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable (ear protection provided). * Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for up to 12 hours. * Ability to recognize variations and hiding. * Willingness to work flexible shift plans. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment. * Familiarity with TPM principles and practices. * Basic knowledge of quality control procedures and protocols. * Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. * Familiarity with computerized quality control systems. * Experience working in a team environment with minimal direct supervision. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. * Familiarity with quality control procedures and protocols. * Basic knowledge of safety principles and practices. * Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities. * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
