Job Overview This exciting opportunity is available within the Quality Control Strategies and Guidelines Group, where you will play a crucial role in driving a culture of excellence by identifying statistical trends and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. As a Quality Control Principles Data Expert, you will utilize data to develop, present, and implement novel ideas and projects, as well as perform in-depth analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process enhancements. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements. Assist in creating and communicating results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders. Assist in investigating critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide insightful reporting to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities. Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to support the relevant areas of the analysis and facilitate stakeholder understanding. Assist in creating and distributing specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the necessity of the data requirements. Identify irregularities in processes through audits/surveys and communicate findings to the team. Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and anomalies. Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision. May perform other work duties as directed by the Team Leader. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree and have a strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively present ideas and findings to diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework are preferred. Experience working in a related field is preferred. Knowledge of data visualization tools and skills, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred. Ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Ability to plan and support large business initiatives. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office and have a strong understanding of data analysis and visualization tools.
