As a Ramp Agent, you will be part of a global team that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our customers and employees alike. **Key Responsibilities** As a Ramp Agent, your primary responsibilities will include: * Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions. * Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related incidents. * Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion. * Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to the customer's destination. * Maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. **Work Environment and Physical Demands** As a Ramp Agent, you will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires physical stamina and attention to detail. Your work tasks will include bending, lifting, standing, and walking, with repetitive tasks such as loading and stacking bags weighing up to 50-70 pounds. You will also be working in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and snow. It is essential to be physically fit and able to work in a safety-conscious manner at all times. **Scheduling and Shifts** Scheduling is based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. Each station is different based on its individual flight schedule, and you will work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on your seniority. **Compensation and Benefits** As a Ramp Agent, you will enjoy a competitive salary of $19.00 per hour, with regular pay increases through 10.5 years of service.
