About the Role As a Registered Behavior Technician with Key Autism Services, you'll play a vital role in providing one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the autism spectrum. You'll work collaboratively with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Supervisors to implement behavior support and treatment plans, collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, and conduct discrete trials. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans Work collaboratively with BCBA Supervisors to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting 1 year of ABA experience or 1-2 years of experience working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills A reliable vehicle and personal means of transportation The ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time The ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings What We Offer At Key Autism Services, we believe in rewarding talent and providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes: A competitive hourly rate starting at $20/hour and onwards based on experience Incentive programs and bonuses Behavior Therapist New-Hire Skills Training University Partnerships, Supervision, Practicum, and Mentoring for aspiring BCBAs Tuition discount with our Partners RBT Certification Assistance Flexible schedules to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening shifts Opportunities for career growth and professional development About Key Autism Services Key Autism Services is a leading provider of autism treatment services, serving families across the United States, including Massachusetts, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Colorado, Illinois, and Texas.
