Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Physician Network Resource Pool team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, providing nursing care to patients in a professional and courteous manner. Your responsibilities will include assisting with procedures, administering injections, performing phlebotomy, taking patient calls, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, calling in prescriptions, coordinating supply levels, pre-certifying patients' medical services, and assisting the physician with all other patient care as requested. Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to patients in a professional and courteous manner Assist with procedures, administer injections, and perform phlebotomy Take patient calls, clean and stock exam rooms, and call in prescriptions Coordinate supply levels, pre-certify patients' medical services, and assist the physician with all other patient care as requested Conduct patient interviews, prepare and maintain exam rooms, and assist with minor procedures Triage patients by telephone or in person, implement physician orders, and provide patient education Report results, maintain clinical documentation, and operate and maintain equipment Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina Current CPR certification Basic first aid knowledge Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a healthcare setting Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong nursing skills and knowledge of medical procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Career Growth Opportunities At Lexington Medical Center, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
