Job Overview We're currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Long Term Acute Care to work on a travel assignment in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in a long-term acute care setting, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop strategies to address these needs. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions. Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support as needed. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Current RN licensure in the state of New Jersey or eligible for licensure. 2+ years of experience in long-term acute care, with a strong understanding of patient care needs and clinical best practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS and PALS certifications preferred. National and state certification in long-term acute care, as required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a travel or per-diem capacity, with flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams. Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology.
