Job Summary We are seeking a positive, compassionate, and hardworking Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the ortho/neuro and critical care unit. Key Responsibilities Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage, and various other nursing interventions Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up along the continuum of care Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Bachelor's Degree in nursing Previous experience in ortho/neuro and critical care nursing Strong communication and time management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong clinical skills and knowledge of ortho/neuro and critical care nursing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Sanford Health, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
