Job Summary In this critical role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing questions from medical professionals, hospitals, clinics, and other medical-related facilities, and responding accordingly via phone. Your exceptional communication skills, clinical knowledge, and ability to work independently will enable you to provide high-quality support to the medical community. As a Call Center Registered Nurse/Surge Specialist, you will be the frontline representative of our organization, ensuring that every interaction is handled with professionalism, empathy, and precision. Your key responsibilities will include: Responding to health-related questions from medical professionals, hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities via phone Providing personalized, empathetic, and accurate responses to complex medical inquiries Utilizing your clinical expertise to address questions and concerns from the medical community Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues Maintaining accurate records and documentation of interactions with medical professionals Participating in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical developments and trends Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess a combination of educational background and work experience providing quality nursing care to patients. The minimum qualifications for this position are: A Registered Nurse (RN) with 1-2 years of relevant experience An LPN with 3-4 years of relevant experience A Bachelor's degree in a health-related field with 4+ years of relevant experience An Associate's degree and/or Certifications in a health-related field with 5+ years of relevant experience In addition to these qualifications, you must have: Solid experience communicating with medical professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak with proper English grammar and syntax Knowledge of word processing and other computer applications The ability to work independently without supervision A strong understanding of various diseases and illnesses Essential Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you must possess a unique blend of clinical knowledge, communication skills, and technical abilities.
