Job Overview As a Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for engaging in online conversations with customers, addressing their queries, and providing accurate information about our products and services. Your primary goal will be to represent our dealer clients favorably online, turning interactions into valuable leads that can generate revenue from website traffic. Key Responsibilities Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, ensuring timely and professional responses to all queries. Provide accurate and detailed information about automotive and recreational vehicle sales, service, finance, and general dealership questions, enhancing the customer's online experience. Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments, facilitating a seamless transition from online inquiry to in-person engagement. Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring that all interactions are documented and actionable. Summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights that can inform future sales and marketing strategies. Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments to deliver expert advice and support. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry, although this is not a strict requirement. Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with the ability to navigate multiple software applications and tools. A strong ability to multitask, with gaming experience being beneficial in handling multiple chat conversations simultaneously. A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills that can engage and retain customers. The ability to adapt to change and thrive in a quick-paced work environment, where priorities can shift rapidly. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications can be advantageous: Experience in a similar chat or call center environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service. Familiarity with the automotive or recreational vehicle industry, with knowledge of sales, service, and finance processes. Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software. Technical Requirements To perform this role effectively, you will need: Your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse, ensuring a reliable and efficient workspace. A quiet, dedicated work space free from distractions, allowing you to focus on customer interactions and deliver exceptional service. The ability to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT, to develop the skills and knowledge required for success in this role. A typing speed of at least 35 WPM, with 40 WPM or above being preferred, to manage multiple chat conversations and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
