Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Remote Customer Service Agent to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Agent, you'll be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional support and ensuring a positive experience throughout their journey. This is a full-time, remote position that offers a competitive salary of $27/hour and the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities Offer comfortable support to and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external clients Work in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our organization Provide amazing client assistance to individuals seeking to travel, use freight or baggage services by handling their needs Handle all aspects of ticketing and check-in by operating an automated retail system, boarding, baggage services, reservations, and resolving related complaints and issues Greet and handle clients in a respectful and friendly manner, handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets Process charges, make change, and balance daily transactions, being responsible for overage or shortage Check in baggage and freight, answer phone calls to provide information to guests, page clients, resolve issues or complaints, and assist as needed Handle transactions required to board the aircraft in an efficient and timely manner Manage upset clients due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, resolving issues quickly and within rules outlined by the organization Provide current and accurate fare, schedule, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answer general questions from clients and other airport visitors Complete forms and reports as required by the organization Organize anomaly and complaint reports as necessary Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a Bachelor's degree and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, previous experience in customer service or a related field is highly desirable. You should be comfortable working in a remote environment, have excellent time management skills, and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with adequate speed to meet the needs of the job Able to read documents, follow instructions, learn and understand ticketing procedures, rules, and regulations Ability to work with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful conditions Able to complete Customer Service Specialist training program with an 80% or greater average and a probationary period Awareness of hazardous situations and ability to handle emergencies as needed Able to work under close time constraints to achieve quick turns of aircraft Able to present a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Operations Agent Handbook and Work Agreement Able to perform all job functions within a limited space Able to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively Excellent written and oral skills Able to convey information and instructions verbally or via radio equipment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
