About the Job We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a full-time remote customer service and payment collection representative. As a key member of our contact center, you will be responsible for making outbound (and some inbound) phone calls to assist customers with payment collections, providing them with knowledgeable answers and resolving their issues in a professional and courteous manner. Key Responsibilities Make outbound (and some inbound) phone calls to customers to assist with payment collections, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and issue resolution Provide customers with accurate and knowledgeable answers to their questions, using scripted customer feedback to ensure consistency and quality Keep in touch with managers and team members to receive feedback, coaching, and support to continuously improve performance Accurately document customer interactions and notes in our system, using a standard keyboard to quickly and efficiently record information Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives, contributing to a positive and productive team environment Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Prior customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment A background in retail, sales, or wait staff can be beneficial, but not required Access to a quiet and dedicated workspace at home, with a reliable internet connection A GED or High School Diploma Basic computer skills and ability to quickly type on a standard keyboard Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can be beneficial: Experience working in a payment collection or accounts receivable environment Knowledge of customer service software and technology, such as CRM systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Empathy and understanding, with the ability to provide personalized support to customers Basic computer skills, including typing, data entry, and navigation of customer service software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and motivation Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
