Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Remote Customer Service Representative. As a member of our Payments and Digital Strategy team, you will be responsible for handling everyday tasks related to payment processing, item processing, direct bills, and budget transfers. Your primary objective will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers' needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities Complete data entry and balancing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail Coordinate return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and related accounting standard ledger balancing Work on member cases/sports assigned, ensuring timely and effective resolution Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products Log, research, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns Process Stop Pays and Check Batching, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Complete daily balancing and department closing tasks, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail Obtain information from contributors for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers, providing exceptional customer service and support Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or GED Intermediate Excel and Word skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems Previous customer/member service experience, with a strong focus on providing exceptional service and support Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and customers Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous banking or Credit Union experience, with knowledge of payment processing and fund transfers Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software Skilled in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, with a strong focus on self-motivation and organization Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service and support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and customers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems, with a strong focus on technology and innovation Career Growth Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our team members with opportunities for growth and development.
