About the Role We're looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative to work remotely from Maine. As a key member of our team, you'll be the voice of blithequark, engaging with customers, resolving issues, and providing personalized support to pet owners across the country. Key Responsibilities Engage directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to address a wide range of topics, from product inquiries to issue resolution Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for customers, utilizing critical thinking and proactive approaches to ensure timely and effective resolutions Operate with empathy, understanding, and kindness, providing exceptional customer experiences that reflect the blithequark brand values Maintain a willingness to learn, embracing feedback, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and growth Collaborate with teammates, managers, and other stakeholders using virtual collaboration tools, such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams, to foster a sense of community and shared purpose Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities, with fluency in both Canadian French (Quebecois) and English Ability to multitask, navigate multiple systems, and perform well in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using computers, including data entry, system navigation, and internet research High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Previous experience working in a pet-related industry or with animals Knowledge of customer service software, such as CRM systems or helpdesk tools Experience with virtual collaboration tools, such as Zoom, Slack, or Microsoft Teams Certifications or training in customer service, such as CSS or CSE Technical Requirements To work remotely, you'll need: A dedicated workspace that's free from distractions and background noise A reliable, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/ 10Mbps+ upload speed) A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication A webcam and headset for virtual collaboration and customer interactions We'll provide the necessary equipment, including a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and software, to ensure you have everything you need to succeed in this role.
