Key Responsibilities Provide friendly and professional support to customers via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the success of our organization and provide a seamless customer experience Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, resolving them promptly and efficiently Process transactions, handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons, and balance daily transactions Check in baggage and freight, answer phone calls, and provide information to customers, page customers, resolve issues or complaints, and assist as needed Manage difficult customers due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, and resolve issues quickly and within company guidelines Provide current and accurate information to customers, including fare, schedule, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answer general questions from customers and other airport visitors Complete forms and reports as required by the company, and compose irregularity and complaint reports as needed Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with adequate speed to meet the needs of the job Ability to understand documents, follow instructions, learn and understand company policies, procedures, and guidelines Ability to work under stressful conditions, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field Knowledge of the airline industry or a similar field Ability to speak multiple languages Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Ability to adapt to changing situations, with a strong focus on flexibility and resilience Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
