About the Role As a Ticket/Gate Agent with Delta Airlines, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers, and ensuring their travel experience is nothing short of exceptional. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about providing top-notch customer service, are tech-savvy, and can work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a remote customer service representative, you'll work from the comfort of your own home, utilizing our cutting-edge technology to provide support to our customers. Key Responsibilities Own the check-in process, boarding process, and seat availability, including making gate announcements and ensuring customers have the perfect travel documentation. Assist customers with ticketing and baggage check-in processes using our computer systems. Tag and lift baggage from scales to conveyor belts, handling luggage that may weigh up to 70 pounds. Operate loading bridges and open, close, and secure aircraft doors. Escort unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport, providing personalized care and attention. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. To be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States. Proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Primary digital literacy and the ability to learn our technology systems. The ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT) and a Customer Service Assessment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, having previous customer service experience, particularly in the aviation industry, is highly desirable. Additionally, being bilingual or multilingual can be a significant asset in this role.
