Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for responding to inbound calls from our government clients, documenting conversation details, and utilizing scripts and resources to guide conversations effectively. Your ability to demonstrate a strong customer focus rooted in empathy, maintain reliable internet connectivity, and proficiently utilize online reference materials will be essential in providing confident, accurate, and efficient information to our clients. As a key member of our call center team, you will be expected to meet department quality assurance standards and metrics, educate customers about our programs, and handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion. Key Responsibilities: Respond to inbound calls from government clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner. Document details of conversations accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all relevant information is captured and updated in our systems. Utilize scripts, online reference materials, and other resources to guide conversations and provide accurate information to clients. Maintain a reliable and secure internet connection, with the ability to hardwire via an ethernet cable, to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Meet and exceed department quality assurance standards and metrics, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in customer service. Educate clients about our programs, providing the most up-to-date information and answering questions in a clear and concise manner. Follow established protocols for handling confidential information, applying sensitivity and discretion in all interactions with clients. Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following essential qualifications: Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Strong computer skills, with the ability to navigate technical systems, including desktop, call center-specific phone systems, and the internet. Ability to pass a language knowledge assessment, demonstrating proficiency in written and verbal communication. Strong internet connection, due to the remote nature of this role, with the ability to maintain a secure and reliable connection at all times. In addition to these essential qualifications, the following skills and experience are considered nice to have: Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative, preferably in a call center environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. Previously cleared for a Public Trust Entry of Duty Clearance Level (Government Clients Only), with the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance. Licenses in Insurance, Healthcare, and/or Finance sectors, with a strong understanding of the relevant regulations and industry standards. Previous experience with FEMA Call Center, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
