As a remote customer service representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our clients' employees, answering questions, providing education, and resolving complex HR and financial issues related to healthcare benefits, 401k savings and retirement plans, leaves of absence, payroll, and more. Key Responsibilities Handle a high volume of inbound calls from clients' employees to address questions, provide education, and resolve complex HR and financial issues. Process transactions such as health enrollments, tax and direct deposit updates, 401k withdrawals or contributions, and retirement elections, which may include additional research and ongoing casework. Leverage computer navigation skills to toggle between multiple screens and systems to provide answers and support, including assisting callers in navigating the system. Create and update files in our database and communicate with third parties to research and assist customers with updates or inquiries. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: 2 years of experience in a call center environment, preferably in customer service or a related field. High school diploma or equivalent required. Excellent telephone etiquette, active listening, and adapting to change skills. Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems and screens. Empathy and strong customer service skills to provide exceptional support to clients' employees. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a premier HR contact center or a related field. Knowledge of healthcare benefits, 401k savings and retirement plans, leaves of absence, payroll, and other HR-related topics. Previous experience working in a remote or home-based environment. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients' employees and internal stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and situations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex HR and financial issues. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and software.
