Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service to every caller by building trust and creating sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication. Key Responsibilities Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations. Effectively handle customer concerns by utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution, while keeping records of all interactions and changes. Confidentially handle policy owner information and ensure compliance and communication standards are met. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members. Provide exceptional service to every caller, building trust and creating sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position, where there is a high value placed on the customer/member experience. Insurance/call center experience is preferred, and you should have demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. You should also have technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies. Preferred Qualifications Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, and knowledge of various insurance products. Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework. High School Diploma required; some college-level coursework preferred. Must possess internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload and be able to support a VPN. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and create sustainable relationships with our members. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. You should also be able to demonstrate empathy and understanding when dealing with customer concerns, and be able to provide accurate and timely resolutions. Technical Skills Experience with computer applications and telephone technologies. Ability to navigate and operate multiple systems and software applications. Basic understanding of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures.
