Job Overview As a Remote Data Entry Associate at blithequark, you will play a vital role in processing incoming healthcare claim forms sent by our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to digitalize these claims in a form provided by our company, ensuring high accuracy and meeting the expected keystrokes per hour or words per minute established by our organization. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our associates to deliver exceptional results and make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their customers. Key Responsibilities Capture and validate complex data with high accuracy Perform image classification and indexing tasks Pre-adjudicate documents and correct data as required Verify data from automated data extraction tools Utilize various systems to work on assigned tasks Complete assignments using multiple source documents to verify data or use additional information to complete tasks Work within established procedures and practices Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and objectives Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to type at least 45+ words per minute (WPM) with high accuracy and 10-key by touch proficiency Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internet research Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while performing functions with high accuracy Maintain or exceed 4,000 keystrokes per hour (KSPH) for numeric and 2,500 KSPH for alpha/numeric with less than 1% error rate Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing (preferred) Experience working through VPN connection Must be at least 18 years of age or older Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be eligible to work in the United States Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background checks or drug screenings Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in data entry or a related field Knowledge of healthcare claims processing and medical terminology Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our associates.
