Key Responsibilities Insert data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within established time limits, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Compile, verify, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry, applying data program techniques and procedures as needed. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check output to ensure data quality and integrity. Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents, applying problem-solving skills and attention to detail to resolve issues. Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure data security and compliance. Scan documents and print files as needed, maintaining organized digital and physical files. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion, adhering to company policies and procedures. Respond to queries for information and access relevant files, providing excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders. Ensure proper use of working equipment, address any malfunctions, and report technical issues to the IT department in a timely manner. Essential Qualifications Proven data entry work experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with MS Office and data programs, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and other software applications. Familiarity with administrative duties, including file management, data entry, and customer service. Experience using office equipment, such as fax machines, scanners, and printers, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Typing speed and accuracy, with a minimum of 40 words per minute and 95% accuracy. Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, with the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional computer training or certification in data entry, administrative support, or a related field is highly desirable. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong foundation in data entry, administrative support, and customer service. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Access, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
