Experienced Remote Data Entry Specialist for Alternative Investments – Work from Home Opportunity with arenaflex

Job Summary The remote data entry specialist is responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for alternative investments. The key deliverables of this role include refining exchange deal transactions in client accounts, identifying and addressing discrepancies between arenaflex and fund companies or transfer agents, and processing corporate activity events. The specialist will also be responsible for settling and reconciling transaction activity, processing and reconciling dividend activity, and conducting research on complex and escalated issues. Key Responsibilities Refine exchange deal transactions in client accounts and identify/address discrepancies between arenaflex and fund companies or transfer agents Process corporate activity events, settle and reconcile transaction activity, and process and reconcile dividend activity Conduct research on complex and escalated issues, perform testing and validation of new technology enhancements and vendor changes Complete projects in investing, dividends, transfers, reconciliation, and corporate actions that directly impact client/advisor accounts Interact with retail and institutional service teams using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce Collaborate with arenaflex clearing in daily relationships with fund companies, transfer brokers, converse organizations, and other external business partners Accountabilities and Evaluation The remote data entry specialist will be evaluated on their ability to perform the following tasks: Review of registration agreements or transaction requests Client/advisor level exemptions Compliance with regulatory responsibilities (e.g. 2340 and 15C3-3) Reconciliation of field, dividend, and transfer breaks Analysis and interpretation of applicable tax programming and corrections of tax coding Problem-solving and internal/external system improvements or issues Source of breaks between arenaflex, the fund, etc. Providing method or technology service solutions to control Remediating transaction issues with the fund or opposite company Customer or business partner service, including answering service partner questions regarding fund specific requirements/eligibility Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Strong knowledge of alternative investments and financial services industry Preferred qualifications include: Experience in data entry, reconciliation, and trade processing Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance Experience with Salesforce, Slack, and other software applications Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes Strong knowledge of alternative investments and financial services industry Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
