Key Responsibilities: Enter data into our systems with high accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate Work closely with our utility teams to define, frame, and capture business needs, providing excellent customer service and support Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our Voice of the Customer methods and leverage this knowledge to define and transform data within our Cornerstone big data platform Design and build robust data model architecture to aid in efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions, utilizing transformational technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python Deliver innovative solutions, ensuring data quality and accuracy through extensive testing at various levels, and provide guidance to enhance competencies and drive efficiency in computing programs using big data ecosystems Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency, and collaborate with partners from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, increase, and test data for various use cases as part of our VOC end-to-end strategy Essential Qualifications: Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, Pyspark, Python, shell scripting languages, development launch management, and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven projects, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience Active collaboration with product owners and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables, utilizing Agile methodologies and iterative development approaches Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and work independently Knowledge of data quality and data governance principles, with experience in data modeling and data architecture Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and experience with data visualization tools and techniques Certifications or training in data science, analytics, or related fields, with a strong passion for learning and professional development Career Growth and Development Opportunities At American Express, we are committed to the growth and development of our colleagues.
