About the Role The Remote Manager for the OSP Customer Care Service Team will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the team, ensuring high-quality customer service, and driving improvements in service delivery. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the OSP Customer Care Service Team, ensuring seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction. Manage and mentor team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional customer service. Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, customer satisfaction, and team performance. Analyze service metrics and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes as needed. Serve as a point of escalation for complex customer inquiries, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues, enhance customer experience, and promote a culture of excellence. Conduct training sessions for team members on policies and procedures related to sponsored programs, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Proven experience in customer service management, preferably in an academic or research environment. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders. Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive improvements in service delivery, with a focus on continuous improvement. Nice-to-Haves While not essential, the following skills and experience would be advantageous: Experience with grant management and sponsored programs, with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges involved.
