Experienced Remote Operations Leader for E-commerce Logistics and Supply Chain Management - $35/Hour

About the Role: Remote Operations Leader As a Remote Operations Leader, you will play a critical role in overseeing and directing various aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring seamless execution and driving customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and team leadership. You will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates, managing inventory, and ensuring that all operations are running efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities: Lead the receiving department and ensure that all capabilities are utilized correctly Delegate and assign work to maintain a 100% fill rate Assist with managing inventory and ensuring accurate stock levels Provide essential training to team members and ensure that all operations are running smoothly Ensure the proper use and accountability of tools and equipment Respond to email and verbal inquiries in a timely and professional manner Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including daily trash compaction Perform additional duties as assigned What You'll Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of leadership, communication, and technical skills. Some of the key qualifications and requirements include: Essential Qualifications: Proven leadership and persuasive abilities, with the capacity to make decisions with minimal direction Experience working in multiple departments, including receiving, inventory control, pick, pack, ship, and returns Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders Experience with creating and responding to emails, as well as working with various software systems Power equipment experience, including the ability to operate or be trained on Controlled Modern Truck Tasks Excellent attendance and punctuality record Preferred Qualifications: Working understanding of WMS systems, with knowledge of High Jump being a plus Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction Ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and move products weighing 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Career Growth and Development Opportunities At Wayfair, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
