Job Overview In this critical role, you will serve as a vital link between our customers, clinical pharmacists, and customer care associates, providing expert guidance and support to ensure that our customers receive the best possible care and achieve optimal health outcomes. As a Remote Pharmacy Technician, you will work in a dynamic, non-retail facing environment, utilizing your knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices to drive excellence in customer service and medication management. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming telephone calls from Customer Care associates on a daily basis, maintaining assigned metrics and providing timely, effective support to ensure seamless customer experiences. Make outbound calls for various purposes, including urgent situations deemed critical by our clinical pharmacist team, and assist with outgoing MD, pharmacy, and customer calls as needed. Collaborate with our clinical pharmacist team to provide expert guidance and feedback, utilizing a consultative approach to continually develop staff knowledge and enhance customer care. Complete tickets to support our Customer Care Team and Clinical RPh team, ensuring that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently. Maintain an advanced understanding of all arenaflex Pharmacy's policies, procedures, products, and services, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and innovations in the field. Monitor and process all help desk assigned tasks on a daily basis, serving as a primary point of contact for escalated calls and handling these situations with professionalism and empathy until resolution is achieved. Manage the reporting of customer complaints, providing resolution per set SLA's and escalating issues as appropriate to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support. Investigate and report pharmacy errors, taking proactive steps to prevent future occurrences and maintain the integrity of our pharmacy services. Learn and stay current on pharmacy laws and regulations nationwide, applying this knowledge to drive compliance and excellence in our operations. Serve as a point of contact for any system or technology/software outages, notifying all appropriate parties and collaborating to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime. Maintain the confidentiality of all customer information, adhering to strict standards of privacy and security in all aspects of your work. Work autonomously, proactively identifying areas in need of improvement and implementing process enhancements to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Essential Qualifications Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License (including Pharmacy Technician, Trainee, and Assistant Licenses). High school or equivalent diploma. Preferred Qualifications National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA), demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field of pharmacy technology. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and drive excellence in customer care. Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications, with a strong foundation in pharmacology and pharmacy operations. 6+ months of relevant experience working with computer and web-based tools, with proficiency in software applications and technology systems used in pharmacy settings.
