Key Responsibilities Triage symptom-based calls, providing recommendations according to approved triage protocols Communicate effectively with patients via phone, text, online chat, and email, ensuring seamless care coordination Conduct professional nursing assessments and interventions for patients with acute and chronic care needs Accurately document all patient interactions electronically, maintaining thorough and precise records Empower patients and families to adopt healthy coping strategies, engage in shared decision-making, and utilize community resources Identify gaps in patient services and develop alternative resources to address these needs Exercise professional nursing judgment and advanced communication skills to network with healthcare professionals, agencies, and systems Demonstrate mandatory and clinical competencies, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and healthcare providers to enhance the clinical experience for patients, staff, and providers Provide health education and prepare patients for primary care manager/physician visits Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a microbiology course/lab A current, active Compact License issued by your state of residence, in good standing with the Board of Registered Nurses A minimum of 3 years' clinical nursing experience as an RN, with significant experience in emergency care or urgent care settings Willingness to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Strong clinical background, particularly in emergency care or urgent care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to triage per triage guidelines and protocols, assessing patients and applying solid decision-making to achieve high patient outcomes Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, keyboarding skills, and strong technical aptitude Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in telephone triage using electronic triage software and computerized medical protocols (1+ year) Experience working within a military population or with TRICARE beneficiaries Retired military or family member of Active Duty Service Members (ADSM) Working knowledge of or experience working at a Military Treatment Facility (MTF) or VA center What We Offer As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy: A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay Opportunities for career growth and professional development A dynamic, supportive work environment that fosters collaboration and innovation The flexibility to work remotely, with a distraction-free workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection Company Culture and Work Environment At workwarp, we're committed to creating a culture that values empathy, integrity, and teamwork.
