Job Summary: Retail Cosmetics Sales Leader - Prestige Beauty As a Retail Cosmetics Sales Leader - Prestige Beauty at Macy's, you will be the driving force behind sales and customer service excellence in our Beauty department. With your expertise in prestige cosmetics across multiple brands, you will serve as a beauty advocate, consistently delivering a best-in-class service experience. Your role will involve helping customers, training colleagues, and staying abreast of the latest trends to lead our team to success. Key Responsibilities Inspire teamwork to achieve sales goals and elevate the customer experience, ensuring that every interaction reflects Macy's commitment to excellence. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products and services to build rapport and loyalty with customers, leveraging your expertise to drive sales and customer satisfaction. Utilize brand training, events, and strategies to drive sales and meet or exceed daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual goals. Build and maintain relationships with customers through our clientele program, sharing promotions, product launches, and rewards program benefits to foster brand loyalty. Communicate effectively with vendors and store leadership to execute company and store-based events, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact. Analyze business performance to create and implement strategies that exceed sales goals, always looking for opportunities to improve and grow. Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop colleagues on policies, goals, and best practices, ensuring that the team is equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets. Lead product demonstrations and peer-to-peer training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills among colleagues. Maintain the visual appeal of the department by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and selecting merchandise to return to vendors, adhering to hygiene standards and asset protection control and compliance procedures. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 1-2 years of direct experience in a related field, preferably in cosmetics or retail sales leadership. Advanced authority and expertise in a specific brand are preferred, demonstrating a deep understanding of the prestige beauty market. A high school graduate or equivalent (general education degree or GED), with a strong foundation in sales, customer service, and leadership principles. Flexibility in your availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of a retail environment. Self-motivation, with a strong desire to stay current with industry trends and support operational excellence. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and share knowledge with colleagues and customers. Resourcefulness and adaptability, with the ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and circumstances.
