Job Overview We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Retail Sales/Customer Service Associate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers, both on the retail floor and over the phone. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls promptly, within the first 2 rings, to ensure timely and efficient customer support Act as a liaison between customers and the company, addressing queries, complaints, orders, and errors in a professional and courteous manner Utilize telephones to communicate with customers, verify order information, and resolve issues by offering solutions, explanations, and options Inform customers about sales, promotions, and other relevant information to enhance their shopping experience Leverage computer technology to provide accurate and efficient support to customers, ensuring seamless interactions and issue resolution Prepare weekly and monthly reports as assigned, maintaining accurate records and contributing to the team's performance metrics Follow up with customers who leave reviews, coordinating manager responses to complaints and ensuring that customer feedback is addressed and implemented Assist Account Managers as assigned, providing support and contributing to the growth and development of customer relationships Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: Ability to multi-task, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously Active listening skills, ensuring that customer concerns and queries are fully understood and addressed Adaptability and flexibility, navigating changing customer needs and priorities with ease Attentiveness and attention to detail, providing accurate and personalized support to each customer Problem-solving ability, resolving customer issues efficiently and effectively Relationship-building skills, fostering trust and loyalty with customers through exceptional service and support Clear verbal communication and customer service skills, ensuring that customers receive timely, accurate, and helpful information Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in an office products or solutions environment Knowledge of office products and solutions, including software and technology applications Experience with computer technology, including point-of-sale systems, customer relationship management software, and other relevant tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
