Job Overview In this exciting and challenging role, you will be responsible for performing research and analysis of complex healthcare claims data, pharmacy data, and lab data to drive network utilization and cost containment initiatives. Your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and presentation will be essential in evaluating and presenting healthcare utilization and cost containment reports, making recommendations based on relevant findings, and overseeing the development and maintenance of data representing a wide range of healthcare information. Key Responsibilities Perform research and analysis of complex healthcare claims data, pharmacy data, and lab data to drive network utilization and cost containment initiatives Evaluate, write, and present healthcare utilization and cost containment reports, making recommendations based on relevant findings Oversee the development, organization, and ongoing maintenance of data representing a wide range of healthcare information Develop and direct a process to clean and integrate complex healthcare datasets to create the data foundation for further analytics and key insights Supervise the completion of special projects as requested by internal departments or external organizations, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery Establish and maintain timelines for reports and projects, ensuring quality of output through rigorous quality checks and reviews Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of education, experience, and skills. The following qualifications are required: Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 3-5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and presentation Preferred qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field 5-7 years of increasingly complex database and data management responsibilities 5-7 years of experience in quantifying, measuring, and analyzing financial/performance management metrics Demonstrated healthcare experience in quantifying, measuring, and analyzing financial and utilization metrics Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with BI tools and multiple data systems and models Essential Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.
