Job Summary As a Senior Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes for repairs, and ensuring that customer expectations are met. You will have in-depth knowledge of our products and services and will develop and broaden relationships with customers to fully understand their needs and wants. You will also provide guidance and advice to less experienced Customer Service Representatives, helping to drive process improvements and repeat business. Key Responsibilities Respond to complex customer inquiries regarding products and quotes, providing accurate and timely solutions to meet customer needs Negotiate sale prices and purchase prices within established parameters to influence Motion gross profit Monitor service requests, assign technicians to appropriate jobs, and communicate with customers to schedule appointments and provide updates on service status Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and customer interactions, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible Build customer relationships to drive repeat business, relating to customers and driving process improvements to ensure exceptional customer experiences Expedites backorders, pulls inventory, and prepares orders for shipment to customers, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and effectively Source products in branch inventory, distribution center inventory, or supplier inventory, determining the most cost-effective shipping method for customer orders Handle customer returns, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly and professionally Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to less experienced Customer Service Representatives, helping to develop their skills and knowledge Assist less experienced Customer Service Representatives with addressing customer needs, including locating items and resolving problems Work directly with Service Technicians in the shop to determine corrective repair actions, ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standard Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will typically require a high school diploma or GED and five or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination. Mechanical and/or Industrial parts experience is preferred, and you should have a strong understanding of our products and services.
