About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team of talented professionals. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with colleagues in cross-functional teams and group settings to identify and define business or product questions to answer, providing feedback to interpret and refine business questions into manageable analysis, evaluation metrics, or mathematical models. Utilize custom data infrastructure or existing data models as appropriate, using specific data to design and evaluate models that numerically express and solve defined problems with limited precedent. Gather information, business objectives, needs, and organizational context around the questions to address, as well as the current and future data infrastructure. Own the process of gathering, extracting, and accumulating data across sources via relevant tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python), independently designing, restructuring, or validating data to ensure quality, and reviewing the dataset to ensure it is prepared for analysis. Develop and maintain complex data models, algorithms, and statistical models to drive business decisions and product optimization, working closely with stakeholders to ensure that insights and recommendations are actionable and impactful. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics, as well as at least 1 year of work experience utilizing analysis to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or 3 years of work experience with a PhD degree.
