Job Summary The Senior Director of Customer Growth and Business Development role is a newly created position that will serve as the strategic bridge between arenaflex and our potential and existing customers. The ideal candidate will be solution-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to create value in a rapidly changing environment. This position will be responsible for leading all growth and customer marketing-related activities, building strategic relationships with C-Suite marketing executives, and providing customer insights to brand, integrated marketing, innovation, and strategy teams. Key Responsibilities Lead all growth and customer marketing-related activities for the new Business Development COE, including developing and executing strategic plans to drive new business growth and manage renewals Build strategic relationships with C-Suite marketing executives at top customers in the pipeline, representing the voice of customers and identifying opportunities to drive growth and innovation Serve as team lead with internal stakeholders to secure support for Business Development project needs, including insights, digital, brand, assets, commercial, and other functions Support the strategic development of customer stewardship materials to provide improved support of efforts being led by other arenaflex customer teams Provide customer insights to brand, integrated marketing, innovation, and strategy teams, and identify when additional customer marketing research may be required to position us to win new business or retain existing customers Identify key trends and gaps within our value bundle, and connect with internal subject matter experts to develop solutions and commercialize best practices Create a communication plan for internal senior leaders that stewards marketing strategies using various tools to gain alignment Build impactful relationships through industry engagements, including conferences, trade shows, and other events Essential Qualifications The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, agency, or equivalent years of CPG experience, preferably with a background or experience working with Foodservice customers. Customer Marketing or Shopper Marketing experience, ideally within FSOP Demonstrated ability to develop unique and compelling beverage partnership strategies Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to lead through complex, long-term projects Strong problem-solving skills, solution orientation, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity Planning and organizing skills, with the ability to lead through change and be a fast and agile learner Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the ideal candidate will have experience working with iconic brands, a strong understanding of the CPG industry, and a proven track record of driving growth and innovation through customer-centric marketing strategies.
