About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our accounting team. As a Senior GL Accountant, you will work closely with our existing team to drive process improvements, ensure accurate reporting of working costs, and contribute to the development of our accounting capabilities. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere and be a part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of logistics and delivery. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger Be a key owner of the monthly close process for assigned regions and entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion Maintain financial records in accordance with US GAAP and internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Assist with providing audit support to external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews Communicate with FP&A, operational stakeholders, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to drive process improvements and enhance our accounting capabilities Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a CPA certification being a plus At least 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry or role Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and SOX/internal controls Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite is preferred Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and precision in your work Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results What We Offer At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the growth and well-being of our employees.
