About the Role We are looking for an accomplished Senior Manager of Social Media Customer Support to lead our social media customer support team. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for developing and operationalizing our social media support strategy, guiding cross-functional teams, and driving business results through online engagement. You will be the primary point of contact for our social media customer support team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional support and service. Key Responsibilities Develop and operationalize our social media support strategy, including setting team vision, creating key metrics, planning agile processes, and setting and achieving team objectives across all brand verticals. Lead a team of leaders and individual contributors on a daily basis, while directing our social media support strategy and execution across a global footprint. Proactively identify shortcomings and gaps in current social support ideal models and drive initiatives to improve operational workflows and the customer experience. Collaborate with senior leaders cross-functionally to work towards a unified customer experience, while supporting the broader objectives as they relate to social media procedures for all blithequark brands. Work with partners to ensure the development and approval of strategy and content for global social teams, ensuring each brand is being represented with a suitable tone and voice. Lead and guide go-to-market launches and product launches, working closely with all partners and cross-functional teams, ensuring social presence is properly addressed and supported. Support incident management needs during high-impact situations, serving as the point of contact for executive briefings, while directing social response, working closely with Leader, PR, and Legal direction. Essential Qualifications BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience. 2+ years of experience managing a team, ability to empower and develop colleagues, it is a plus to lead leaders. 4+ years of experience in social media or online community management, demonstrated ability to drive business results through online activity. Experience with social media in the executive stages, e.g., Salesforce (Service Cloud), Falcon, Hootsuite, Listenfirst, Qualtrics, Sprinklr. A proven track record of creating and operationalizing innovative online social projects. High intuitive understanding of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and AppFollow or more. Demonstrated understanding of which metrics and tools help improve the customer experience through social channels. Display a high ability to bear setting changing and interruptions while staying useful and able to give effective direction. Preferred Qualifications Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Experience with technology, entertainment, and dividing consumer audiences. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Value accountability and take ownership from start to finish. Approach challenges head-on with a positive and driven attitude.
