Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to own the data governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) relationship on behalf of Data Products & Platforms within Disney Experiences (DX). As a Senior Product Manager, you will report into the Senior Manager, GRC, who oversees our data governance, risk, and compliance program. You will establish strong relationships with key business partners, analyze their needs, current trends, and potential partnerships to drive priority initiatives. You will analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they are met, and develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple initiatives and efforts that support GRC. Key Responsibilities Drive capability roadmap and define operational excellence to improve our processes and overall efficiency Develop a vision that enhances our product management and engineering leadership families Provide customer and leadership support in product management and engineering leadership families Act as a liaison between business users and the implementation team, presenting appropriately and effectively with co-workers, customers, and supervisors Continually review available resources to maintain first-hand knowledge of where resources can be best allocated and reevaluate current resources to resolve project resource surplus and shortfalls Establish clear ownership of program/project, ensure team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback Proactively communicate portfolio status, issues, and risks to leadership Conduct regular status meetings with team and partners, continuously keeping customers' needs and requirements in view Work collaboratively to maintain detailed knowledge of product capabilities and ensure clear communications between program/project teams and its collaborators to ensure alignment throughout its lifecycle Work to resolve data issues that are key and critical to GRC across data product managers, source producers, and partners Translate GRC strategy into detailed data requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 5+ years of related work experience in product management or a similar industry Prior product management experience in a similar industry, with a strong understanding of data governance, risk, and compliance Prior experience with managing into business relationships, including measuring effectiveness of partner happiness Ability to summarize business use cases, capture data information/structure concepts, and clearly communicate those Strong problem-solving and analysis skills, with the ability to translate business needs into requirements Experience and proponent of agile development methodologies Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications include: Master's degree and/or equivalent work experience Experience working in the entertainment industry or a similar field Knowledge of data governance, risk, and compliance frameworks and regulations Experience with data analytics and visualization tools Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Disney Experiences (DX) Tech & Digital, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $112,586 to $151,030 per year in Glendale, CA, and $117,998 to $158,290 per year in Seattle, WA. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. We also offer a bonus and/or long-term incentive units as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
