About Us and the Role Our Global Marketing Communications group is at the forefront of developing and executing world-class communications. As a Social Technical Project Manager, you will be the linchpin in the execution of our social media strategy during events on third-party platforms. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration, timely execution, and continuous improvement of our social presence. You'll be working closely with creatives, broadcast teams, and agency partners to facilitate the best work possible. Key Responsibilities Lead technical explorations for livestream broadcasting on emerging social media platforms, staying ahead of the curve in terms of technology and best practices. Develop and manage internal schedules for events in collaboration with event producers and platform operations, ensuring timely and effective execution. Communicate and drive social timelines with both internal and external teams for broadcast testing, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Partner with various teams including Brand Managers, Paid Media, Localization, and Event Producers to ensure a cohesive approach to social media execution. Facilitate critical meetings such as Social-led kick-offs, partner briefings, executive reviews, and content best practices sessions to ensure clarity and alignment. Manage project/event workflow logistics, including server set-up, communication plans, disclosure lists, folder organization, logistics calendars, and confidential workspaces. Advise on and facilitate the GEO social rollout of Marketing Communication events, applying Social best practices for GEO-social needs. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must have: A minimum of 10 years of experience working with internal and external technical partners, with a proven track record of managing complex projects. Expertise in livestream broadcast technical testing, particularly with large global brands and third-party platforms. Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapid changes. The ability to organize complex information at a high level to address potential roadblocks and define the best way forward, always keeping in mind the quality of the work. Deep cultural curiosity and connectedness, with extraordinary communication and negotiation skills. A good understanding of digital and video asset creation and approval cycles. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, having the following qualifications will make you an even more competitive candidate: Experience with a variety of social media platforms and their respective broadcasting capabilities. A background in marketing communications or a related field. Previous experience working in a matrixed organization, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
