As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to student borrowers, answering their questions, and resolving any emerging problems that may arise. This is a fantastic opportunity to establish a career in a growing industry, while also having the chance to work from home after 90 days (subject to meeting performance and attendance requirements). **Key Responsibilities** * Respond to incoming calls, use chat, and complete outbound calls to assist student borrowers with their questions and concerns * Provide detailed information and process applications with accuracy and efficiency * Practice active listening, empathy, and clear communication to resolve customer issues * Follow established policies and procedures, including working within various systems, timekeeping, and documentation of calls * Assist callers with filling out their application and submitting it electronically to plan providers for processing * Complete basic call logs, documentation, and related call details for each phone inquiry **Schedule** * Monday: 11:45am-8:15pm * Tuesday: 10:45am-7:15pm * Wednesday: 10:45am-7:15pm * Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm * Friday: 8:45am-5:15pm **Preferred Skills** * High School diploma or equivalent required * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally * Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM * Experience working with a personal computer and the Windows operating system * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively work within established key performance indicators/metrics * Ability to multi-task and stay organized while completing simultaneous tasks **Requirements** * Ability to navigate various systems and browsers * Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills sufficient to communicate and interact effectively with customers and co-workers * Knowledge of contact center technology * Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Excel and Word * Excellent command of the English language, effective use of grammar skills * Excellent communication etiquette * Great customer service skills, with the ability to personalize calls, be competent with information, patient, polite, and initiative-taking in offering solutions and assistance **Benefits** * Competitive pay * Sick time starts accruing immediately after training completion * Special event days throughout the year * $25,000.00 Life Insurance paid for by arenaflex * Paid holidays from day one of employment (subject to meeting criteria) * Opportunity to work from home after 90 days (subject to meeting performance and attendance requirements) **Work Environment and Culture** arenaflex is a family-oriented organization that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
