About the Role of Student Success Coach The Student Success Coach plays a pivotal role in our organization, serving as a mentor, guide, and motivator for students throughout their educational journey with arenaflex. Key Responsibilities Support enrollment, student development, and retention services, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all students. Manage a cohort of assigned students, coaching each through their degree program with proactive and timely outreach. Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach, helping them develop the skills and knowledge necessary for academic success. Create a trusted and supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests. Offer guidance on utilizing resources to maximize each student's success, including becoming a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent). At least two years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling. Knowledge of academic policies and procedures, with the ability to learn technical skills quickly. Excellent communication and listening skills, including a pleasant and professional phone manner. A strong customer support focus with attention to detail, ensuring each student receives personalized support. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly valued: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively. Familiarity with educational technology and student information systems. Certifications or training in counseling, coaching, or a related field.
