Job Overview The Technical Data Specialist will play a critical role in overseeing and maintaining the accurate and efficient management of product and fleet data, aligning with our corporate strategies and best practices. This position involves close collaboration with our manufacturing and operating companies' Product Data Management (PDM) teams to ensure seamless data entry, issue resolution, and process improvement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing timely and accurate fleet data entry, maintaining the M3 ERP System Fleet Master File, and evaluating new equipment specifications to facilitate the creation of new item hierarchies. Key Responsibilities Liaise with Aggreko Manufacturing and Operating Companies' PDM teams to ensure alignment on common strategies and share best practices. Escalate PDM-related issues to appropriate stakeholders and facilitate resolution with colleagues. Execute timely and accurate fleet data entry into supporting database applications. Maintain and manage the M3 ERP System Fleet Master File, ensuring the accuracy of fleet data. Evaluate new equipment specifications to facilitate the creation of new Aggreko item hierarchies within the M3 ERP System. Create and issue new Aggreko part numbers (serialized and non-serialized) for North America using the M3 ERP System. Coordinate the issuance of global plant numbers for North American third-party procured serialized fleet assets. Generate timely and accurate reports on fleet modifications and share with impacted functional departments. Attach relevant certification documents to units as required, ensuring compliance and accessibility. Monitor and process registration renewals, with a focus on TT&L for trailer fleets. Identify and contribute to process and system improvements for local product data functions. Address and resolve intranet feedback forms, including updates to serialized asset activity and ownership. Manage end-of-life processes related to product data. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., M3 ERP System) and fleet/product data management. Strong proficiency in data entry and management tools. Knowledge of ERP systems and fleet management practices. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across various levels and departments. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: Previous experience in a similar role, with a focus on product data management and fleet data analysis. Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and data management tools. Experience with data analytics and reporting. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
