Job Summary and Key Responsibilities As a Temporary Call Center Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by interacting with customers via phone. Your primary responsibilities will include: Assisting customers by entering orders into our system, offering upgrades and add-ons, and responding to order inquiries Providing top-notch customer service and resolving customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner Working efficiently and effectively to meet productivity and performance standards Collaborating with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field; experience in a call center environment a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities High level of attention to detail and accuracy Preferred qualifications include: Previous experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and order management systems Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 and productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office) Experience working in a remote environment and managing time effectively Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy Computer Requirements To ensure success in this role, you will need to have the following computer equipment: A PC with a Windows 10 operating system (Windows 7, Windows 8, MAC OS, and Chrome OS are not supported) High-speed internet service (10 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload) An approved headset Computer and virus protection with up-to-date anti-virus software Schedule and Pay As a Temporary Call Center Representative, you will work a scheduled block of hours, which will be determined during training. Our scheduling requirements include: AM shift: 7am - 2pm CST Mid shift: 11am - 7pm CST A weekend shift (Saturday and/or Sunday) is required for all agents Initially, you will work 4-8 hours/week until late November/early December If extra hours are offered, you're welcome to pick up extra hours at any time Our pay structure includes: $15/hour Project Completion Bonus - eligible for a bonus based on peak season hours worked (peak season is from December 3rd through December 31st) Benefits and Perks As a valued team member, you will receive: Competitive salary and bonus structure Comprehensive benefits package Employee discount Paid training Opportunity to work from home Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At Omaha Steaks, we're committed to the growth and development of our team members.
