Tutor/Clinician Position Details We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to fill part-time Tutor/Clinician positions in our Ann Arbor, MI Learning Center. As a Tutor/Clinician, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one and small group instruction to students, implementing our proprietary lesson plans, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, one-to-one and small group instruction to students of all ages, both in-person and online, using Lindamood-Bell's specialized programs and materials. Implement lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership, adapting instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Utilize positive-reinforcement strategies to maximize learning outcomes, promoting a cheerful and supportive atmosphere. Interact professionally and positively with clients, parents, and staff to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records electronically, using our computer-based system. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and program updates. Essential Qualifications: A passion for education and a commitment to helping others achieve their full potential. Excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills, with the ability to model these skills effectively for students. Basic computer skills, including the ability to type notes about student performance while leading engaging sessions. Associate's degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, or actively pursuing a degree; Bachelor's degree preferred. Monday through Friday availability, with flexibility to work a varied schedule according to the needs of the Learning Center. Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching or tutoring experience, although not required. Experience working with students of diverse ages, backgrounds, and learning needs. Familiarity with educational software and technology, particularly programs focused on reading and comprehension.
