**Experienced Undergraduate Program Coordinator – Academic Advising and Student Services in a Dynamic Engineering Environment**

Our mission is to support the future change-makers of the world by offering holistic support and services that range from expert personalized degree planning, proactive advising initiatives, peer tutoring and mentoring, hosting annual events and traditions, and advising and supporting our student organizations and leaders. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Undergraduate Program Coordinator to join our team in the CEAS Undergraduate Student Office (USO). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing continuous comprehensive academic advising to undergraduate CEAS students, coordinating all aspects of undergraduate programs within the assigned CEAS Department, and administering program policies and procedures. You will also serve as the primary liaison between students, faculty, and staff, and provide exceptional customer service to our students. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide high-quality, proactive, and timely advising to students in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS) with a focus on undergraduate programs within the assigned CEAS Department. * Coordinate all aspects of undergraduate programs within the assigned CEAS Department, including administering program policies and procedures, registration, and advising. * Serve as the primary liaison between students, faculty, and staff, and provide exceptional customer service to our students. * Evaluate applications for declaration of all majors, minors, and specializations within the assigned CEAS Department. * Oversee department registration procedures, including processing student requests to register for course forms, override permissions, and monitoring enrollment. * Create and update student degree checklists, monitor student degree progress, and process graduation clearances. * Partner with International Academic Programs & Services regarding visa and immigration forms. * Implement course substitutions in DegreeWorks as approved by the Undergraduate Review Committees. * Process transfer course/credit evaluations and review and forward to the appropriate professor with applicable supporting documentation. * Create and maintain reports to evaluate various aspects of the undergraduate program, including enrollment numbers, admission to major/minors, course enrollments. * Generate statistical reports to support departmental decision making and act in an advisory capacity regarding course enrollment needs. **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in higher education, student affairs, social work, counseling, or a related field. * Two (2) years of full-time experience in academic advising, counseling, or student services at the college or university level working with students. * Highly proficient professional experience in word processing, spreadsheet management, electronic messaging, and internet applications. * Excellent interpersonal skills, exercising strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a collaborative approach to problem solving. **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in higher education, student affairs, social work, counseling, or a related field. * Student academic advising experience with undergraduates. * Experience working with an engineering student population or knowledge of engineering disciplines. * Experience coordinating a Graduate and/or Undergraduate Program. * Experience conducting training or delivering presentations. * Experience coordinating programs and/or events. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff. * Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret policies and procedures and advise students on academic matters. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a collaborative approach to problem solving. * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. **Career Growth Opportunities
