Job Overview In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, consultant, and partner to business leaders, providing practical expertise in different areas of HR to align HR needs with key business objectives. You will collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR solutions and programs that address business challenges. As a key thought leader, you will champion and promote the organization's values and culture, empowering leaders by developing leadership intuition and capability. Key Responsibilities Establish trusting relationships and foster a deep understanding of the business, including functional drivers (financial, passenger experience, safety, etc.) to facilitate initiatives that drive business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to leaders by presenting different perspectives and challenging assumptions. Provide expert-level consultation and support to leaders in all aspects of talent management and the employee lifecycle, including organizational development, leadership development, employee and labor relations, recruitment and retention, performance management, and total rewards. Collaborate with leaders to align current and future business needs into an overall integrated HR plan, focusing on exceptional opportunities that contribute to the growth and competitiveness of the business. Partner with internal stakeholders to drive improvements, communicate/implement new initiatives, and respond to complaints/concerns to shape and advocate the organization's values and culture. Model and promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, learning, and recognition, where all employees feel welcomed, valued, and included. Lead or advise on projects or initiatives related to organizational change, workforce planning, organizational design/restructuring, and more. Develop reporting that provides and analyzes data/metrics for trends or themes that inform decisions that drive business results. Maintain compliance with government, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommend best practices, and consistently review current policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a related field. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships throughout the organization. Proven ability to grasp business objectives and then design and implement new strategies, policies, and procedures to drive continuous improvements in business goals, productivity, and enhancement of the HR function within the organization. Strong knowledge of HR policies and practices, experience developing and implementing workforce and talent plans, and experience in project management. Demonstrated ability to seamlessly transition between strategic thinking and tactical execution. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity within a complex, dynamic, and rapidly changing business environment. Demonstrated ability to prioritize the most critical work amidst multiple competing needs. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced degree in a related field. Certification in HR or a related field (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR). Experience working in the airline industry or a related field. Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and other HR-related software.
